Callirhytis apicalis (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae)   (Synonym: Andricus apicalis)

Emerged on June 2 from root gall on Quercus agrifolia (coast live oak). Gall was brought indoors in February. The hole visible in center of this image is the one from which this wasp emerged.
