Klambothrips myopori
(Thysanoptera: Phlaeothripidae)
Myoporum leaf damage caused by thrips. The thrips and the tree are native to Australia and New Zealand. Myoporum has been widely planted in California, but since around 2005, many have been adversely affected by Klambothrips myopori. This species of thrips was scientifically described in 2007. |
