(Coleoptera: Cleridae)
This beetle is a pest of the Dermestes maculatus larvae that clean the specimens being prepared for the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology at UC Berkeley. It's also a pest of meat cured for human consumption, and it eats other dead animals as well. |
