  • Has hilum (little doodad) visible on top or side.
  • Underside or top of leaf, slightly striate or wrinkled, 1-1.5mm diameter, not on midrib vein.
  • Often there are 5-15 per leaf.
  • Have seen on Quercus chrysolepis, Quercus vacciniifolia, and Quercus palmeri.
  • Calaveras, Contra Costa, Glenn, Kern, and Riverside Counties (California)
