  • On dorsal or ventral surface of leaf, on midrib vein, up to 6mm tall.
  • With or without short hairs. Or are these two separate species?
  • Russo (2021) lists these as two separate species (sp. B. with short hairs, on dorsal surface, and with truncated tip; sp. C with fewer hairs, on ventral surface, and without truncated tip).
  • Have seen on Quercus chrysolepis.
  • Contra Costa and Glenn Counties (California)
